At least as things stand now, three-star cornerback LaDarrius Bishop won’t be playing his college football in his home state of Arkansas.

Bishop announced Saturday afternoon on Twitter that he has committed to Mississippi State. He attends Ashdown (Ark.) High, located in the southwest corner of the state near the Texas and Oklahoma state borders.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Bishop picked the Razorbacks over finalists Arkansas and Oklahoma State. He announced ahead of time that his commitment would take place Saturday afternoon.

Bishop also holds offers from Arkansas State, Baylor, Illinois, Iowa State, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis and Purdue.
