Dak Prescott emerged from being a relatively unknown player to a serious contender for the Heisman Trophy last season. The talented quarterback broke 12 school records last season and lead his team to their first 10-win season since 1996 and their first Orange Bowl appearance since 1940!
Had Mississippi State not dropped three of their last four to close out the season, perhaps Prescott would be preparing for the 2015 NFL Draft, not his senior season in Starkville. State's most difficult loss to get over was the Egg Bowl against rival Ole Miss.
