Not only do players hope for the best, they understand such injuries can occur to anyone one on any given play.
Ole Miss players experienced that last weekend when sophomore defensive tackle Benito Jones went down in the Rebels’ scrimmage.
“That’s my brother out there, and I’m praying for him,” sophomore defensive tackle Josiah Coatney said. “Him going down really emphasized, ‘Hey, this is more than just a game. This is life, something you’ve got to really take serious.
