Ole Miss basketball (10-8, 3-3) was sitting in a good spot with the midweek game against TAMU coming up. Of course, the Rebels needed a good road win under their belt. However the Aggies were not about to lose a sixth consecutive SEC game and especially not at home.
The Rebels fell behind early in the first half and trailed the Aggies 45-37 at the break. Ole Miss played much better in the second half and even outscored the Aggies 32-26. However it wasn’t enough to secure the win. The game came down to a final shot by the Rebels.
