Well, the Hugh Freeze Crootin Train is still rolling after four-star defensive back Jaylon Jones made his commitment to Ole Miss. The young man from Allen, Tex. announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he chose the Rebels over an enormously impressive offer list.
Jones chose the Rebels over Auburn, Ohio State, TCU, Texas A&M, Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. Jones is rated by 247Sports as the No. 18 cornerback in the country and the No. 30 player in the state of Texas. Third-year co-defensive coordinator/cornerbacks' coach Jason Jones has done a phenomenal job in his short time at the helm and it doesn't appear he intends to slow down the crootin momentum in the secondary anytime soon.
