It's no surprise that the Wild wouldn't allow you to go to bed at a reasonable hour last night. They could have either brought their game and dominated the Ducks, or alternately let the Ducks have the game early so you could go to bed with a clear conscience. They did neither. They played their brand of grinding, cycling, low-event hockey against a team that had the same effect on them. Not surprisingly, the game was tied after 1 period. Ultimately the Wild would reward its fans with a few extra minutes of sleep by surrendering the go-ahead goal to the Ducks with 6 minutes left and mercifully didn't take the game to overtime.
