Wilderness, it’s a bright new day. The Avalanche have a new coach, and rumor has it they hired one with the same trait as Patrick Wah. I’m not talking about the preposterous temper, the silly beard, or the outrageous devotion to offense and utter disregard for defense.
I’m talking ties, and I’m talking clip-on. That’s right. Each of the last two coaches of the Avs, and now this guy, all wear clip-on ties.
It’s the gospel truth.
