Tuesday night featured a lot of sights Wild fans haven’t seen in a while. A home game. Five goals against. Tom Wilson doing Tom Wilson things. Most importantly, they saw a tired squad struggling to keep their legs under them after a long road trip, trailing early to lose to the defending champion Washington Capitals, 5-2.
Next up for the Wild is a home tilt on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks. Hopefully they can return the favor for a 5-2 defeat they suffered on October 29th.
