Wild Reassigns Christoph Bertschy to Iowa Wild

The Minnesota Wild has reassigned forward Christoph Bertschy (pronounced Burr-chee) to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bertschy, 21 (4/5/94), was recalled on an emergency basis yesterday and logged a team-high four hits in 6:14 of ice time in last night’s 3-2 loss to Winnipeg. He has skated in three games with Minnesota this season and made his NHL debut on Nov. 7. The native of Fribourg, Switzerland, has collected nine points (2-7=9) including a power-play and shorthanded goal and 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 19 games with Iowa this season. The rookie ranks tied for second on the team in scoring.
