DENVER -- Zach Parise scored the game-winner with a hat trick to cap a furious opening night comeback, then pumped his fist and skated past the Wild bench, bumping fists with each teammate, a move he once hoped the team would stop doing because he didn't find it befitting for NHL players who should expect to score.
But on this night, in the first of 82 games, the moment, a quick skate past the bench to celebrate with teammates, was deserving.
With a power-play goal midway through the third period, Parise put an exclamation mark on an incredible comeback.
