Wild Agrees To Terms With Defenseman Gustav Bouramman On A Three-Year Entry-Level Contract

The Minnesota Wild has agreed to terms with defenseman Gustav Bouramman (pronounced BOO-ruh-muhn) on a three-year, entry-level contract.

Bouramman, 19 (1/24/97), posted 46 points (6-40=46) and 43 penalty minutes (PIM) in 68 games with Sault Ste. Marie of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in 2015-16, ranking T-3rd amongst all OHL defensemen in assists and T-5th in scoring. The 6-foot, 189-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, led OHL rookie defensemen and ranked T-14th in scoring overall amongst OHL defensemen in 2014-15, posting 44 points (5-39=44) and 14 PIM in 67 games with the Greyhounds. His assist total ranked T-5th among OHL defenseman and his plus-33 rating was third best amongst OHL rookies.
