Minnesota Wild sign prospect Gustav Bouramman

The Minnesota Wild signed Gustav Bouramman a three-year, entry-level contract Friday. The Wild selected him in the seventh round (201st overall) in the 2015 draft.

The 6-foot, 189-pound Sweden native recorded six goals and 40 assists in 68 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. He ranked tied for third amongst OHL defensemen in assists and tied for fifth in scoring last season.

Michael Russo reported via Twitter that Bouramman is expected in Minnesota soon, but it is unknown where he will play next season.

Bouramman’s rights in Sweden are owned by Lulea.
