The Minnesota Wild announced that forward Jason Zucker will host a fundraiser to benefit the family of Tucker Helstrom and the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital on Thursday, July 21, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at SEVEN Event Destination located at 700 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis.
On Saturday, July 2, 9-year-old Tucker Helstrom lost his battle to cancer after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in the fall of 2015. During his battle with cancer, Tucker and his family attended numerous Minnesota Wild games, visited with the players and developed a strong friendship with Jason and his fiancé, Carly Aplin.
