On another beautiful pass from linemate Charlie Coyle, Eric Staal buried his second goal of the season about 11 minutes into the second period. Not only was it Staal’s second of the year but it came on a breakaway; finally after 8 breakaway opportunities someone was able to bury. Wild trial 2-1.
