Vikings: Zach Line paves way for Adrian Peterson, Teddy Bridgewater

Vikings fullback Zach Line is relishing his role as Adrian Peterson's snow plow and Teddy Bridgewater's occasional outlet.

Minnesota might not deploy him to lead block as much as former Pro Bowl player Jerome Felton, but Line has proven himself an option for his quarterback.

He caught an 8-yard pass in Sunday's victory over Atlanta and was thrown to twice. Line has four catches for 67 yards this season, including a 48-yarder in a Week 6 victory at Detroit.

"It's awesome," he said Monday. "You don't want to sit on the sidelines. It's nice to be out there on special teams, too, and contribute as much as I can.
