Vikings' owners remain confident in Mike Zimmer, Rick Spielman

MINNEAPOLIS -- Speaking at the NFL owners meetings in Arizona on Tuesday, Vikings co-owner Mark Wilf said the team's offseason -- in which the Vikings added two tackles, replaced Adrian Peterson with Latavius Murray and signed Datone Jones while saying goodbye to eight free agents -- has so far gone according to plan.

"Of course there's always surprises, changes, but by and large, it's going to be a combination of some leaving, some new free agents coming in and sprinkling in some we're going to get in the draft," Wilf said. "Obviously, last year was disappointing, particularly with the great [5-0] start we had and all the promise we had from [a division title in] '15.
