Vikings' Mike Wallace: 'Exotic sports car' has spent preseason stuck in park

Teddy Bridgewater dropped back and hit wide receiver Mike Wallace in stride for a 40-yard touchdown pass down the left sideline. Wallace celebrated by chest-bumping tight end Kyle Rudolph.

Unfortunately for Vikings fans, that happened during a Thursday practice closed to spectators. They are still waiting for Bridgewater to connect on a long ball to Wallace, the speedy deep threat acquired in March from Miami.

"I want to see one, too (in a game)," Wallace said.

In three preseason games, Wallace has caught one pass for two yards.

"He's only two yards ahead of me right now," quipped Hall of Fame wide receiver James Lofton, who retired in 1993.
