Vikings confident T.J. Clemmings can do the job at right tackle

It looks to be rookie T.J. Clemmings' job to lose as the Vikings' right tackle.

Clemmings was pressed into emergency service when starter Phil Loadholt tore his left Achilles in Saturday's 26-16 preseason victory over Tampa Bay at TCF Bank Stadium. He is out for the season after being injured on the second play of the game.

Offensive coordinator Norv Turner wouldn't say for sure that Clemmings will start in place of Loadholt when the regular season starts Sept. 14 at San Francisco, but indicted he will get every chance to be the guy.

"I'm sure we're going to look at all the different options that are there, but if T.
