Restaurant and bar named after Vikings DT John Randle to open in Minneapolis

When it comes to the most passionate Minnesota Vikings players of all time, it is hard to debate having John Randle at the top of the list. His non-stop motor and excitement for the game made him a fan favorite, and now the Pro Football Hall of Fame player has another honor.

On February 21, 2017, a restaurant and bar named Randle’s will be opening up on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. The establishment is named after the 1997 leader in sacks and will feature statues and photographs of him as the decor.

For those curious about what Randle’s has to offer guests, here is the statement made on the establishment’s official website:

“Named after the legendary John Randle, Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle from 1990 to 2000, NFL sack leader in 1997 and inductee to the Hall of Fame in 2010, Randle’s will be a new and exciting upscale sports bar and restaurant with four floors of great food, an active bar scene and a name familiar to Minneapolis sports enthusiasts not only for John Randle’s professional accomplishments but also for his local involvement.
