Report: Vikings among the favorites to land top CFL quarterback

For the next two seasons, Kirk Cousins is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. Rightfully so though, since the Vikings signed Cousins to a fully guaranteed, $84 million contract last March.

But just because Minnesota is set with who their starter will be for the next couple of years, it doesn’t mean that they should stay away from adding any promising quarterbacks to their roster this offseason.

And according to some recent news, it doesn’t sound like the Vikings are shying away from signing any new signal-callers this year.

After meeting with and working out for with the team a few months ago, Minnesota is reportedly one of the favorites to land former CFL quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell this offseason according to 3DownNation’s Justin Dunk.
