Adrian Peterson Sees Long-Term Future In Minnesota

Adrian Peterson has played every snap of his career with the Vikings, rushing for 11,675 yards and 97 touchdowns since being drafted in 2007.

The Vikings running back doesn’t plan on going anywhere soon, and he recently chatted with Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press about his long-term goals in Minnesota.

Peterson said his relationship with Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer is one of the top reasons he enjoys playing in purple.

Peterson, 31, is now vying to break hall of famer Curtis Martin’s record and become the oldest [to lead the NFL in rushing yards in a season].
