Adrian Peterson apparently wants way more money than he is worth

A few days ago, former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson celebrated his 32nd birthday. It was one of the few things Peterson has been able to celebrate recently as he has still not signed a contract for the 2017 NFL season since he became a free-agent back on March 9.

Well according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, there may be a central reason for why the running back is still without a contract.

Peterson, who thought he was worth the $18 million he was scheduled to earn in 2017 with the Vikings, apparently still thinks he should be paid like one of the NFL’s top running backs.
