Looks like the Christian Ponder era could be over in Minnesota. The Vikings official Twitter account announced that Matt Cassel is going to be the team's starting quarterback in London this Sunday as Minnesota takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers:

Ponder is out with a fractured rib, but his poor performances so far this year have opened the door for Cassel to win the starting quarterback job if he puts together a solid game this Sunday.
