Miguel Sano made his 69th start of the year at designated hitter on Sunday.
He made just nine starts at third base and appeared in two more games at first base after his July 2 promotion from Double-A Chattanooga. A hamstring injury suffered in late July limited him exclusively to DH down the stretch.
At 22, will the Twins make it a priority to find him an everyday position in 2016 or could they keep Trevor Plouffe at third while again limiting Sano to mostly hitting duties?
"I'm not overly comfortable locking him into a DH role," Twins manager Paul Molitor said.
