Ft. Myers, Fla., -- The Minnesota Twins announced Friday that they have optioned the following players to Triple-A Rochester: right-handed pitcher Alex Meyer, first baseman Kennys Vargas and infielder Jorge Polanco.
Additionally, the Twins have reassigned the following players to Minor League camp: right-handed pitchers Jose Berrios and Nick Burdi, left-handed pitcher Aaron Thompson, catchers Stuart Turner and Mitch Garver and outfielder Joe Benson.
The Twins now have 43 players in camp: 20 pitchers, five catchers, nine infielders and nine outfielders.
