Twins: Ricky Nolasco on pace for Sunday bullpen session

Twins right-hander Ricky Nolasco, on the 15-day disabled list with elbow inflammation, threw from as far as 150 feet on Friday and plans to do the same on Saturday.

Provided a fourth straight day of long-tossing goes well Saturday, Nolasco said the plan is to throw a normal bullpen on Sunday.

"We'll see how that goes," Nolasco said. "It's been really good. I'm happy about that. Everything is good."

Nolasco would be eligible to come off the DL as soon as April 24 at Seattle. His turn in the rotation is due to fall on April 25, the middle game of the three-game series against the Mariners.
