Minnesota Twins: Ricky Nolasco's ankle injury still unsolved

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The medical team for Twins right-hander Ricky Nolasco continues to huddle in an effort to solve a right ankle problem that has stretched on for more than a month.

Dr. Robert Anderson, the specialist Nolasco saw on Thursday, recommended a "different type of bone scan," according to Twins manager Paul Molitor. Already Nolasco has undergone MRI and CT scans along with a cortisone injection since leaving the mound in pain on May 31.

"I'm pretty sure there's going to be another test done before they decide," Molitor said. "I don't think anything has been settled in terms of surgery being the solution.
