The Minnesota Twins finished the month of July with a 12-13 record. They are 53-49 overall, but since the All-Star break they are 4-9.

They start the month of August by finishing up a four-game series against the Seattle Mariners at home and then will travel to Canada to take on the Toronto Blue Jays for an important four-game series. They will play 11 games at Target Field and 17 on the road.

Aaron Hicks was the Twins most valuable player in July. The Twins center fielder hit .346 with four home runs, two doubles, two triples and 16 RBIS.
