CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago White Sox right fielder Avisail Garcia was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins because of inflammation in his right knee.

Garcia, batting .319 with four homers and 18 RBIs, was lifted for a pinch runner in the 10th inning of Monday's win over Cleveland but played in the next three games.

With Garcia out, J.B. Shuck is starting in right and batting seventh.
