Slow Start Is Difference For Wolves In New York

New York - Friday’s game between the Wolves and Knicks had a hint of déjà vu to it.

Much like Wednesday’s two-point loss, the Wolves came back down big (17 on Wednesday), but ultimately fell after holding a lead in the fourth quarter.

The Wolves were down 10 going into the fourth quarter on Friday, but ultimately took a one-point lead after a Zach LaVine dunk with 6:34 left in the game, but the Knicks were clutch down the stretch and closed out a 118-114 win.

That comeback was impressive considering the Wolves once trailed 24-8 in the first quarter, but the fact the comeback was necessary is the problem, according to Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau.
