The regular season is finally here.
The Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the regular season opener Wednesday night at the FedExForum in Memphis.
The Wolves enter the season after finishing 5-2 in the preseason and the Grizzlies enter the season after finishing 4-2.
Coming Off Of
The Wolves are coming off of a 109-74 blowout win over the Charlotte Hornets last Friday in the preseason finale.
Shabazz Muhammad led Minnesota with a team-best 17 points in 18 minutes off of the bench. Zach LaVine had 15 points and five rebounds, Karl-Anthony Towns had 15 points and nine rebounds, Nemanja Bjelica and Brandon Rush each added 14 points, and Ricky Rubio had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
