Final push sends Wolves past Bulls

Much of this might sound familiar.

Saturday night at Target Center, the Timberwolves showed signs of brilliance, had spurts of explosive offense.

This has happened before. But here is where the script changes: Down five points late to a Bulls team missing its best player but looking ready to close out a close game, the Wolves rallied for a 112-105 victory that included equal parts offense and defense.

Andrew Wiggins scored on three consecutive Wolves possessions, the third time with 19.5 seconds left that put the Wolves up five and sealed the victory.
