The Minnesota Lynx have signed Cheryl Reeve to a multi-year contract extension, the terms of which were not announced. This is tremendous news. It keeps Reeve with the club where she has had amazing success for the foreseeable future.
Reeve has been head coach of the Lynx for six seasons, during which she has led the team to three WNBA championships and four WNBA Finals appearances. She is 140-64 overall in the regular season and a spectacular 29-10 in the playoffs.
