Gophers football: Offensive line still not set for opener

Gophers coach Jerry Kill said Tuesday's practice will help determine which offensive linemen start in Thursday's season opener against second-ranked Texas Christian.

Kill said there could be a few first-time starters. Those players could be senior center Brian Bobek and sophomore right guard Connor Mayes, both of whom saw playing time as reserves last season.

"We haven't decided on those things," Kill said during his weekly teleconference with reporters. "We got practice (Tuesday) and we'll see how things go and how people move around."

The Gophers have yet to release their injury report.

Minnesota had to reshuffle the offensive line during preseason camp after left tackle Ben Lauer had a minor surgery on his left knee.
