The Milwaukee Bucks were sitting on a three-game winning streak heading into All-Star weekend. With Malcolm Brogdon, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Thon Maker all involved in the weekend’s festivities in one way or another, it seemed like the Bucks could ride some momentum into the second half of the season.
The goal of the season for Milwaukee still seems to be the playoffs, and although the Detroit Pistons won on Thursday the Bucks could’ve gotten within one game of the Pistons with a win against the Utah Jazz on Friday.
Instead, they dropped to two games back and generally got stomped outside of the first five or so minutes of action.
