Following the Common Council’s decision to approve a $400,000 settlement offer to Brown, he and his legal team have 14 days to accept or decline the offer. However, Brown’s attorney, Mark Thomsen, desired for any settlement offer to include an admission of guilt from the police department and the city of Milwaukee as a whole.
