Former Brewers manager Ron Roenicke returns to Miller Park

Only one year removed as Brewers manager, Ron Roenicke was shocked at how little help he could provide when asked the other day for a scouting report on Milwaukee's hitters.

"In that short a time, I looked and I only saw two names I knew in the lineup," said Roenicke, now third base coach for the Los Angeles Angels, who are in town for a three-game interleague series. "It's really unusual to happen that fast."

The only regulars in the Brewers lineup who weren't traded after Roenicke was fired were leftfielder Ryan Braun and catcher Jonathan Lucroy.
