For an 18-year-old player who has the bragging rights of being a first-round draft pick, Trent Clarkhas a mature viewpoint of his status with the Brewers.
"It's a big honor. Only so many people can say it," said Clark, who was introduced as a newly signed professional Monday night along with second-rounderCody Ponceand third-rounder Nash Walters.
"But at the same time, not all first-round draft picks make it to the big leagues. And at the end of the day, that's everybody's goal. It's not to get drafted; it's not to play minor-league ball.
