Philadelphia – The four-game showdown between the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies was billed as the Worst Series, a clash of the teams with the worst records in the major leagues.
Three-fourths of the way through, one team has been much better than the other. Or much worse, depending on which side of the fence you are sitting.
The Brewers took their third in a row from the Phillies on Wednesday night, romping to a 9-5 victory with a season-high 17 hits.
In the process, the Brewers won their fourth in a row for the first time since mid-August of last season.
