MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders men's and women's cross country competed Saturday night at the Memphis Twilight. This opening race of the 2022 season for the Blue Raiders was hosted by Christian Brothers University at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
The women's team performed excellently, finishing first overall at the night-time meet. All five runners placed in the top-11, with sophomore Irene Jeptoo placing the highest overall at fourth. The Blue Raider women beat out the number-18 ranked Ole Miss runners who finished in second.
The men's team ran well also, placing all six runners that went to the meet in the top 25.
