FORT WALTON BEACH, FL -- The Wuerffel Trophy announced its watch list today of a record 108 players from college football's Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Middle Tennessee's Brent Stockstill is on the distinguished list.
Stockstill, a redshirt junior, is 21st nationally among active players in career passing yards and fourth in passing yards per game. He owns the Middle Tennessee career records in touchdown passes (61), 300-yard passing games (14), 400-yard passing games (2) and passing yards per game (303.3).
The Wuerffel Trophy, known as "College Football's Premier Award for Community Service," is presented annually by the All Sports Association in Fort Walton Beach Florida.
