HUNTSVILLE, Texas. – Middle Tennessee softball (17-24, 5-10) lost both games of the doubleheader at Sam Houston (15-23, 4-11) on Saturday to drop the series.
Game 1 – MTSU 3, SHSU 7
Kamryn Carcich would hit her fifth home run of the season in the top of the second to give the Blue Raiders the early lead in game one of Saturday's doubleheader. The Bearkats answered quickly in the bottom half of the inning with two runs to take over the lead headed into the third.
Ansley Blevins started off the third inning with her second hit of the game and 16th of the conference season for the third most in the league.
