MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball (16-21, 4-7) dropped game two with FIU (14-19, 2-6) 6-3 on Friday to even the series. Saturday's series finale will start at 12 p.m. CT and be the deciding game.
MTSU jumped out to an early lead with driving in in the bottom of the first inning. FIU would answer immediately and tie the game with a run of their own due to an error by the Blue Raiders.
The Panthers would take a two-run lead in the top of the third inning after a pair of errors by the Blue Raider defense.
