Siegel's volleyball team saw its stellar season end Thursday afternoon as the Lady Stars were eliminated 3-2 by Farragut in the TSSAA State Tournament at MTSU.
Siegel finished its season and 43-10 and took fourth place in the state tournament.
Outside hitter Leah Poarch shined in defeat with 15 kills, two blocks, 26 digs, and one assist.
"I mean we've overcome more than most teams, so to overcome as many obstacles as we have to make it to where we are it takes a lot of heart and passion and we have that," Poarch said. "We showed up this season, so I'm very proud of this team and this season, and I wanted more because of how many problems we've had.
