MTSU's men continued their unbeaten run in conference play by beating Western Kentucky 91-76 Saturday night at the Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders, who knocked off Marshall 69-57 last Thursday, improved to 15-3 overall and 5-0 in Conference USA play, while Western Kentucky dropped to 9-10 and 3-3.
After giving up a pair of jumpers in the opening minute, MTSU went on a 13-2 run before WKU closed the gap, bringing it to a four-point game. However, the Blue Raiders began to overwhelm the Hilltoppers by dominating the rebound game and taking a 46-32 lead at the half.
