Lancaster Christian football has high expectations

Lancaster Christian Academy will celebrate 10 years of football this season, and will do so in a new conference.

"That's our motto this year; we're Team 10," said LCA coach Kevin O'Dea. "We're trying to change the culture around here. We want to win our conference, and those are the expectations.

"We've formed the Tennessee State Christian Conference. The TSCC has four teams; two out of Memphis, one out of Jackson and us. Our goal is to make it to the state championship game on Nov. 10 at Bethel University."

O'Dea, who has been at the school five years as the head boys basketball coach and admissions director, said the program has a coach in waiting in Jason Bragg.
