LEBANON -- A fast finish wasn't enough to overcome a slow start as La Vergne remained winless following Friday's 31-26 loss to Lebanon at Clifton Tribble Field Danny Watkins Stadium.

Down 31-6 headed into the fourth quarter, the Wolverines (0-4) scored 20 unanswered points to draw within a single score with :58 seconds remaining in regulation, but a last-ditch onsides kick was recovered by the Blue Devils, who ran out the clock.

Quarterback Keianthony Conner was spectacular in the loss, completing 20-of-29 pass attempts for 423 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
His main target was wideout Josh Lewis who snared 10 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown.
