MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For the second straight week, Agnes Abu has been named Conference USA's Female Track Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Ghana native had another impressive showing at the War Eagle Invitational hosted by Auburn. After setting the school record in the 800-meter run last weekend, Abu clocked a 4:17.75 in the 1500-meter run to claim second place and set a new school record.
The senior's time ranks first in C-USA and No. 29 nationally.
Abu was one of four Blue Raiders to break school marks this weekend at the War Eagle Invitational against eight top 25 programs.
