WMU Football Honored With NCAA Sportsmanship Award

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The NCAA announced today the names of the 2018-19 sportsmanship award winners for Divisions I, II and III. The male recipient for Division I was the 2017 Western Michigan Football team. The Broncos were recognized for their role in the 2017 game at USC, in which blind Trojan long-snapper Jake Olson took his first collegiate snap.

Established in 1999, the NCAA Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct each year selects a male and female recipient from Division I, II and III, as well as one former or current coach or administrator to receive awards for their displays of great sportsmanship.
