CLEVELAND, OH - The awards and honors keep piling up for senior Brenae Harris. The Marion, OH native was named the Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
A communication major with a 3.651 grade-point average, Harris averaged a team-high 23.3 points in three games this past week, shooting a blistering 63.2 percent (24-of-38) from the field, 80.0 percent (4-of-5) from beyond the arc, and 90.0 percent (18-of-20) from the free throw line.
Harris opened the week with 10 points and a season-best six helpers against Atlantic-10 power Dayton on Wednesday, Dec.
